Preparing for your tan
Its best if you can have at least 4 ours between your last shower/shave and your tanning appointment. This gives your pores time to close to avoid discoloration or lighter tan results.
Do not apply lotion the day of your tan!
If you shower the night before your tan, you may use lotion.  The PH balancing prep spray included in every spray tan experience will help neutralize the skin and cut through any perspiration that may have occurred the day of and or lotion from the night before.  If makeup or deodorant is unavoidable the day of your tan, I provide wipes for removal before your session.
Complete all other beauty services before the day of your appointment (like manicures, pedicures, waxing, lash appointments, facials, and massages)!
Bring (or wear) loose-fitting clothes to change into immediately after your spray tan.
Bring flip flops.
Leather/vinyl seats? Bring a large towel to cover so that you avoid sweating off your fresh tan from sitting on leather/vinyl seat.

Other helpful tips-
The week before your appointment, if possible, please moisturize your skin daily.
Hydration helps prepare your skin, and will make your tan last longer.
Do not use dove soaps of any kind, oil based body scrubs, or oil based lotions the night before appointment when prepping.
If you had a recent sunburn – please know that there is a high probability that your spray tan will look blotchy & your skin could peel wherever you have been sunburned, regardless if you already peeled or not.

If you are pregnant, please get your Dr.’s permission before making your appointment.
I like to mention if you are pregnant,  PMSing, or on your first couple of days of your menstrual cycle, the spray tan can developed very lightly.  Hormones are so temperamental.  Only one out of 50 clients will experience this.
